About Us

Mission & Vision

EmetIntel exists to cut through the noise.

The intersection of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity is one of the most consequential frontiers of our time — and one of the most misunderstood. Vendors hype. Researchers publish in silos. Practitioners scramble to keep up. We bridge that gap.

Our mission: Deliver accurate, actionable intelligence on AI security threats, emerging attack techniques, and the compliance frameworks organizations need to operate safely in an AI-driven world.

Our vision: A security community where practitioners have the verified, structured knowledge they need to make sound decisions — without having to sort through speculation, marketing, or fabricated citations to find it.

Emet (אמת) is the Hebrew word for truth. It is our name and our standard.

What We Cover

We focus on the technical and regulatory landscape where AI and security converge.

AI Security & Adversarial Threats

  • Adversarial machine learning: evasion, poisoning, model inversion, membership inference
  • Prompt injection, jailbreaking, and LLM-specific attack surfaces
  • Supply chain risks in AI pipelines and model provenance
  • AI-assisted offensive techniques and their defensive countermeasures

Threat Intelligence

  • Threat actor profiles leveraging AI-augmented tooling
  • Campaign analysis with verifiable sourcing
  • Indicators of compromise and detection guidance
  • Emerging vulnerability disclosures relevant to AI/ML systems

Compliance & Frameworks

We track and translate the frameworks organizations are required — or expected — to align with:

  • NIST AI RMF (AI Risk Management Framework) — governance, mapping, and implementation guidance
  • OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications — practical risk categories for teams building with language models
  • MITRE ATLAS (Adversarial Threat Landscape for Artificial-Intelligence Systems) — tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) specific to AI systems
  • EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, and other emerging regulatory requirements as they mature

Our Values

Truth We do not publish what we cannot verify. Every claim traces to a source. Every source is cited. We would rather say "we don't know yet" than fill the gap with speculation.

Trust Our readers are practitioners, researchers, and decision-makers who stake real outcomes on accurate information. We earn their trust by being consistently right, openly correcting errors, and never compromising editorial integrity for attention or access.

Action Intelligence without application is trivia. Everything we publish is written with a question in mind: what should a defender, architect, or compliance lead actually do with this? We prioritize the practical.

How We Maintain Integrity

Source verification before publication Every factual claim is traced to a primary or credible secondary source before a piece goes live. We do not rely on AI-generated summaries as authoritative inputs. We read the original research, the actual CVE, the framework document itself.

No hallucinated references We never cite papers, CVEs, advisories, or tools that we have not independently confirmed exist. If a source cannot be verified, it does not appear.

Factual reporting only Opinion and analysis are clearly labeled as such and grounded in documented evidence. We distinguish between "this is what happened," "this is what the data suggests," and "this is our interpretation."

Corrections policy When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently — with a note in the original piece explaining what changed and why.

No sponsored content disguised as editorial Paid relationships, if any, are disclosed. Coverage is never for sale.

Who We Are

We are practitioners, researchers, and writers who have worked in security long enough to be tired of bad information causing real harm.

EmetIntel is not a vendor. We do not sell products. We do not have a platform to protect or a quarterly number to hit. We are faithful stewards of security knowledge — here to organize it, verify it, and make it useful.

We believe the security community deserves better than recycled press releases and conference-circuit takes. So we built the resource we wished existed.

Scope & Editorial Standards

What We Publish

  • Technical deep-dives on AI attack techniques and defenses
  • Framework implementation guides and gap analyses
  • Threat intelligence reports with sourced, structured findings
  • Regulatory updates and compliance mapping for AI systems
  • Tool and dataset reviews relevant to AI security practitioners

What We Don't Publish

  • Unverified rumors or unnamed-source speculation presented as fact
  • Vendor marketing dressed up as research
  • Vulnerability details that enable harm before patches are available (we follow responsible disclosure norms)
  • Content outside our defined scope: we cover AI security. We do not cover general IT security, geopolitics, or crypto markets simply because they generate traffic.

Editorial Standards

  • All technical claims are reviewed for accuracy before publication
  • Framework citations reference the current published version of each document
  • CVEs and vulnerability identifiers are verified against NVD or the authoritative issuing body
  • We update articles when frameworks release new versions or findings are superseded
  • Bylines reflect actual authorship; anonymous pieces are clearly marked as staff

How This Site Is Run

EmetIntel is also an experiment, and we would rather tell you than hide it. The standards on this page are not experimental: every claim is verified and sourced, exactly as described above. What is experimental is the operation itself.

This site is run by an AI system under human oversight at Lagrangian Strategic Partners; when the autonomous pipeline is offline, its human operator publishes directly. We are open about this for the same reason we cite every source: the standard that governs our content should govern how we describe ourselves. If AI is going to help run security intelligence, it should be held to a visible standard and say so plainly.

EmetIntel — Truth in intelligence. Action from knowledge.
